It's Gonna Be a Cowboy Christmas

  I redid my small booth.
I'm getting it ready for a Cowboy Christmas.
I have a  really fun rebar  Christmas tree and I'm
going to put  primitive ornaments on it.

1930's Wagon wheel bed

I wrapped some wool blankets in leather belts and stuffed them
into a  copper clad oval tub, along with a cute pair of boots and  an old sign.

An original stage coach  painting above the bed

Sunburst stained glass window

We bought this window  4 or 5 months ago, and  I was waiting for the right time to bring it in.  The only problem  was, how to display it. I opted not to use the frame, the window was already in, because it  was kind of ugly. so, I just  back lit one of the panels, and stacked the rest.
7', 4 paneled stained glass window.

Displayed in my booth.

Adding to Vintage Christmas ornaments....

I was   looking at;  //decortoadore.blogspot.com/,
Laura's blog. She posted  a tutorial on making paper rosettes. I got inspired to add vintage music rosettes to my vintage German glass sunburst ornaments.  I love them. They are large enough to show up in the tree, but still look delicate enough. Thanks again, Laura

I started with this  vintage ornament.

I assembled this rosette by folding, accordian style,
3 pages of vintage  sheet music, then glue gunning them together.

I cut out the center of a foil doily and attached it to the rosette,
then attached the ornament to that.

This is an iron cross attached to another
doily center and  large rosette.

I'm not sure if I like the large or small rosettes best. What do you think?

Henry B.B. P.

My friend, Mary, adopted little Henry from a  friend who found him on the street. He found a home and she found a "Wart". That's what she calls him, because he sits in a sling on her chest whenever she goes anywhere. He is a happy camper. He just sits in his sling quietly, while strangers come up to him and goo and gaw.  He never yaps and kisses everybody who wants one. He has been saved.  The SPCA has tons of animals waiting to find homes. Please adopt a homeless pet.

Fall Feeling in the booth

I finished the screen and put it in the booth.
I love this little  table. It's a "Tailgate"
table for a 1940's  "Woody" station wagon.
It folds up into a little square.
Of course when you bring in one thing, the whole booth changes. It takes hours to redo a booth.

Here's the  screen.

The cupboard on the  wall sold in two days.
Now I have to find something else to hang.
That should be the only problem I have in life, right?

The Screen renovation

I know, there are still ruts in the screen, but I didn't think about gesso til too late.
