The Natural side of Disney World

It was 27 degrees in Oralndo,  so you'd never know you were in Florida, until you saw the flora and fauna. Just look at these birds and the moss hanging from the tree.

I love cheese cloth.

I added cheese cloth, vintage jewelry, and glitter to a white  ornament.
Shoe clips are  are inexpensive to find and are great for  repurposing.
I made these ornaments from coffee stained cheese cloth, a piece of jewelry, and glitter. I love the look of the lamp shades, so I thought why not.

Thrift shop finds

I went to my favorite thrift store's holiday  decor sale. I bought tons of stuff for less than $80. Some of the stuff needed TLC. As shown below. It was fun doing crafts again.
vintage clothes pin reindeer. I even put earmuffs and a scarf on each.
close up of vintage stocking
the stocking and  felt flowers are vintage. I just put them together.
All felt. I added the felt flower between his antlers

More Christmas booth pics

Santa has  a dirty nose.
Santas crack me up. Look how many different ones there are.
I love deer. These are flocked, ceramic, plastic and bisque.
The large deer  I think is Bauer, and was made into a lamp.
I was so happy to have ornaments the color of the lamps.
this picture doesn't do the lamps justice.
embossed leather chairs.

Christmas at the Agoura Antique Mart.

Our tree up front. I love doing this tree. Every year Maria and I think we did the best tree ever, then the next year we come up with another one.
Gorgeous Angel
All photos by me! That's me in the reflection. I loved doing this vignette.
Here are some pictures of our Christmas decorations at the mart.  Maria, (owner),  Pat (a dealer), Lupe (our muscle), and I  have been a team for years and years. We work well together. No fights and lots of laughs!

Ethereal pearls

I don't know how I did this, but the lighting is so ethereal,
that , I think, this is the best picture I've ever taken!

Awesome Ornaments

These gems are the 12 days of Christmas. Each card has a day number on it.
These jeweled cards are the whole ornament.
I adore them!

My  friend ,Sheryl,  is one of the most creative people  I've ever known. She used to have a booth at Agoura Antique Mart. That's where I met her. Her merchandising was exquisite, and merchandise was top notch. Now, she's creating the most beautiful Christmas Ornaments, I've ever seen.  You be the judge.
