Here are Ghiberti's Bronze doors on the Bapistry in Florence.  I learned about these doors in Art History.  To see them in person, was a lifetime experience.

    Ahhhh, I remembrer standing there too....just looking at them. They are AMAZING, aren't they? Our hotel was right down the street from there, and we could see the Duomo, and bell tower from our room window.

    They are amazing, and I learned about them in school and never thought I'd actually see them in person.
