A Day in Cave Creek, Arizona

Don't you love these walls?  In a most unusual store.

Gorgeous old painted wooden furniture and  religious icons. I could have  stayed there for hours, but the boys were ready to go.
This weekend,
Guy and I went to Phoenix to visit  Eric, our son, and his girlfriend Cat.
I wanted to take this gas pump home.
While Cat was working, Eric, took us to Cave Creek.  It's a little western town, with lots of fun stores and restaurants amid the cacti.   We ate breakfast at Big Earl's Greasy Eats. The  country fried steak and eggs is the best I've ever had.
Then we went to "The Town Dump"! A most unusual store, with antique wooden furniture,  fanciful iron sculptures, jewelry, ceramic, and  just plain fun stuff. I bought a wooden angel made from old chair rails  and legs. It was a  lovely weekend. The weather was beautiful, the company divine, and  food delish! Thanks Eric and  Cat.

Eric and  his daddy!

Fun, Fun, fun!!!

Every where you turned, here was something unique.
These crows were 3 dimensional.

2 out of the 3 Stooges.

Look how cue this tractor is,  can you see that the seat is a typewriter?
